Cutting out activities
Make a Simple Puppet
What you will need:
- Envelopes
- Scissors
- Glue and spreader
- Coloured scrap paper
- Crayons or paint

What to do:
- Open the flap of an envelope
- Fold in half and cut a 'V' to fit your finger.
- Cut off the corners
- Open out and colour or paint both sides of the envelope
- Cut out eys, nose, mouth and hair from the scrap paper and glue to the puppet
Make a bug
What you will need:
- 2 egg cartons
- Scissors
- Paint and brushes
- Pipe cleaners
- Tape
- Glue and spreader

What to do:
- Cut cardboard egg box in two halves. Paint both halves.
- Cut the round parts from the second egg carton to use as feet and paint.
- Cut 3 pipe cleaners in half and glue to feet.
- Tape these to the inside of the flat part of the egg carton.
- Fold pipe cleaner and stick on for feelers.
- Tape the bumpy part of the egg carton over the top to complete your bug.
Make a Fish
What you will need:
- Brightly coloured paper
- Glue and spreader
- Scissors
- Foil

What to do:
- Draw a simple fish shape on the paper and cut out.
- Cut out and glue on an eye.
- Cut out some strips and glue onto the fish.
- Cut out foil shapes and glue onto the fish.
- Cut out triangles and glue on.
- Cut long pieces of tissue paper for a tail and glue to the fish.
